The life and legacy of Fr. Walker

Fr. Kenneth John Walker, FSSP (1985–2014) dedicated his earthly life entirely to Christ and His Church. Guided by his enduring counsel to never waste time and to use every moment well for God, our school draws strength, discipline, and devotion from his exemplary priestly vocation.

Early vocation and sacred formation

From an early age, Fr. Kenneth Walker heard the call to the priesthood, nurtured deeply by his family's love for the Traditional Latin Mass. After his foundational studies at Our Lady Seat of Wisdom College, he entered Our Lady of Guadalupe Seminary in 2005. Formed in prayer, humility, and classical Catholic doctrine, he answered God's ultimate calling when he was ordained a priest for the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter (FSSP) on May 19, 2012.

A shepherd's devoted service

Fr. Walker served Mater Misericordiae parish in Phoenix, Arizona, with unwavering charity and energy. He offered the holy sacrifice of the Mass daily, spent long hours in the confessional, established a local Knights of Columbus council, and reached souls over Catholic radio. His love for life called him weekly to stand outside abortion clinics, where he prayed all three mysteries of the Holy Rosary in defense of the unborn.

"Don't waste time! Use every moment well for God."
